The Electric Car Grant offers banded grant levels for electric vehicles priced at £37,000 or below, with eligibility criteria based on the sustainability of vehicle manufacturing see the Government EV Car Grant page for further details. The grant is offered at two bands, £3,750 and £1,500.

EV Congestion Charge Savings
Discounts for electric cars means that EV owners do not need to pay the full London Congestion Charge of £18.00 per day.* As of January 2026, Electric cars get a 25% discount on the congestion charge, whereas electric vans and HGV get 50% off.
Live richer with 4% BIK for electric company-car drivers
In April 2021, the UK Government introduced new benefit-in-kind (BIK) tax rates. This means company car drivers of 100% electric vehicles pay 4% BIK as of April 2026, considerably lower than they would for petrol, diesel or hybrid vehicles. So, why not save yourself money by switching your non-electric company car to 100% Electric All-New Nissan MICRA, All-New Nissan LEAF or Nissan ARIYA.*
EV Home Chargers
One of the easiest and quickest ways to charge your electric vehicle is at home. Nissan works with leading home charger installer, Pod Point. When you order your home charger from us it will be safely installed by their trained technicians before delivery of your vehicle, if you haven’t picked it up yet. We have a number of finance options available including bundling the cost into your monthly electric vehicle payments or buying it outright upfront.
OZEV Government Grants
The OZEV Electric Vehicle Chargepoint Grant is available if you own or rent a flat and can help towards the cost of installing an electric vehicle chargepoint socket at your property. You can get 75% off the cost of buying and installing a socket, up to a maximum of £500.
If you're a landlord, look into the EV Chargepoint Grant and EV Infrastructure Grant. An EV Infrastructure Grant gives you money off the cost of any wider building and installation work that’s needed to install multiple chargepoint sockets and can be for sockets you want to install now and in the future. For example, an EV Infrastructure Grant can cover things like wiring and posts. You can get up to £30,000 or 75% off the cost of the work depending on how many parking spaces the work covers, and you can get up to 30 infrastructure grants each financial year.
