Most new electric vehicle owners are now choosing to purchase their home charger when they order their new Nissan, spreading the cost within their monthly vehicle payments.¹ Alternatively you can purchase it upfront.

If you’d prefer to purchase direct with either E.ON or Pod Point, make sure you still let your dealer know and they can refer you.

Once you’ve purchased your home charger, your Nissan dealer will refer your details to E.ON or Pod Point. Their expert team will then contact you directly to chat through your household setup, requirements and installation process.

In advance of installation you will be asked to answer a short installation survey, either online or on the phone. This will involve you providing details of your home as well as some photographs to confirm the location of your charger and electrical setup. Once completed, the installers will confirm your specific setup and an installation date will be agreed with you. Usually, this will be within 4 weeks of your survey.

Once the technicians arrive, the charger is fixed to the wall, connected to the mains power supply and activated for use. In most cases, the engineers will be onsite for a few hours. They will talk you through how best to use your charger and help you download, setup and pair with your mobile, so that you have complete control over your charger from the first day.
