Nissan made its all-electric racing debut in Season 5 (2018/19) of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, becoming the first Japanese manufacturer to enter the series.

In Season 11, the team is competing with the new GEN3 EVO Formula E car. Capable of reaching 0-60mph in 1.82s this new generation is 36% faster than the previous GEN3 car. This follows a successful Season 10, where British driver Oliver Rowland took two victories, two pole positions and and five further podiums.

FEEL ELECTRIC FESTIVAL

To celebrate the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship and the highly anticipated final races of the season at ExCeL London, we brought the excitement of Nissan Formula E to London.

The Nissan Feel Electric Festival transformed Covent Garden into a Japanese-themed garden with a large display of cherry blossom trees. Offering limited edition Sakura sushi and complimentary mocktails.

The public could also step inside our Formula E lab for an introduction into the world of Formula E from Nissan’s own race experts. Testing race skills on one of the several race car simulators or compete in a head-to-head race using only the power of your brain.

The excitement didn’t stop there! For one-night only Londoners witnessed a stunning race helmet projection beamed onto 110 The Queen’s Walk near Tower Bridge - a perfect fit for its distinctive shape.

The final surprise came alive at night with an immersive Japanese dance and music performance inspired by the spirit of Kabuki.
