How do Over-The-Air Updates work?
1. Update Notification
After the software has finished downloading automatically in the background, a pop-up will appear when the ignition is turned OFF, asking if you would like to install the update.
You will see two options:
• Now: Start installing immediately.
• Ask Later: Software update does not start. A reminder will appear the next time the ignition is turned OFF.
Note: If you choose ‘Ask Later’ three times, the update will be cancelled and will not be installed. You can visit a dealership if you wish to update in the future.
2. Confirm Installation
By selecting “Now”, a confirmation message will appear on the screen.
Select “Yes” to proceed.
3. Installation Progress
When the installation starts, a progress bar will appear on the screen.
• You can leave the vehicle during this time.
• Some features may be unavailable until the update is complete.
Note: If you attempt to turn the ignition ON during installation, a message will appear saying:
“Software is installing. Cannot IGN ON.”
4. Completion
Once the update is done, a ‘Software update completed’ pop-up will appear.
Press OK and the update is now complete.
You can now use your vehicle normally with the updated software.
